The Strandlines project is hosting a day’s workshop in oral history. This workshop is led by Dr Graham Smith, a distinguished oral historian with a wealth of experience researching and teaching oral history.
The workshop will cover what is oral history, designing questions, remembering and story telling, responsibilities to those we interview. The aim of the day is to introduce oral history and to develop practical skills in carrying out and recording interviews. All equipment will be provided, as will refreshements.
