The trademark of the St Pancras Ironwork Company

Morning light, early autumn.  Before becoming part of King's College London, this building was known as Aldwych Chambers; this floor was occupied at one time by the stamp merchant Bridger & Kay - the fixing-points for the letters of their name can be seen along the architrave at the top of the photo.  It's a good balcony for watching processions and demos from.

Strand Lines

An atmospheric snow scene, 2012, of Lincoln's Inn Fields, located near the former Land Registry Office and the entrance to New Square. The blues and browns creating a quiet harmony.The snow reflecting the sky above.

 A pen and ink drawing from life in 2010 of Sasha, a young London College of Fashion student. Although this is a tiny  drawing the patterns and textures elevated its scale. 

Ink and wash sketch drawn from life in Lincoln's Inn Fields park in 2010. The scene reflects two people enjoying and using this open green space only a few minutes away from the busy Kingsway and Strand.
