22 October 2012, 19:30-21:00; Anatomy Museum, King’s College London

An exciting evening event run by the Centre for Life-Writing Research: the Cabinet of Artists will be leading an imaginative tour of London’s busy thoroughfare, the Strand.

The tour will bring the Strand to the Anatomy Museum at King’s College London. Not only transforming the museum space, but also re-imagining the Strand, the artists will introduce you to points of interest and inspiration. Performances, songs, poetry and visual displays will enrich understandings of the rich, dynamic and intimate histories of this famous street.

The Cabinet of Artists is a group of creative practitioners associated with Strandlines: an initiative that explores past and present lives on the Strand. Strandlines is run by the Centre for Life-Writing Research.
